Denim jumpsuits belong to the same category of clothing as a little black dress or white blouse. The only difference is that the denim jumpsuit has a certain stylistic purpose: this is a casual clothing item, which is pleasant and comfortable to wear in everyday life, changing it for something more solemn and elegant when needed. But this is only the obverse side of the coin, because these recent years we have seen that women’s denim jumpsuit can be incredibly diverse in cut, style and fashion design.
In 2016 in addition to traditional, our favorite simple overalls with two straps and front shelf, we see models with short and long sleeves, close-fitting with wide baggy or flared trousers in 70s boho style, bodycon cut jumpsuits, very light blue washed, ripped and very dark shade of Indigo that is almost black. Also there are jumpsuits with appliqués and one shoulder ones, reminiscent of cocktail dresses or evening gowns.
How to wear a denim jumpsuit to look stylish? After all, it often looks like a working uniform, not like a fashionable clothing for women. The most important advice – choose the right shoes! If you are young enough and prefer sporty style, you can wear a short jumpsuit with sneakers or trainers. If you wear a full length or cropped jumpsuit, then choose high-heel sandals or classic pumps with heels.
